1&2 Introduction and  Minutes from last meeting.
Minutes from the last meeting june 6’th 2002 were distributed by mail and as attachment in the beginning of  August 2002. The meeting started with a brief repetition of the minutes. Thereafter a short information update about FORCE was given by Haugen

3&4. Presentation of the Topic of the day
The presentation was given by Anke Wolff about the Balder field

It was a good presentaton and it resulted in several questions and discussion on specific topics like:

 5. Next meeting topic
Claus will give a presentation around the topic: Modelling age variations in a compacting reservoir.

6. Responsibilities/activities in connection with the seminars (Shale and AINSA)
Apparently a program for the AINSA II workshop was put together by  the SING group on sedimentology during late April and May. We were not consulted. As a group we are not expected to give more input to this conference/workshop. However we should consider a workshop on reservoir characterization where the Ainsa field could be one session or one of the topics to follow up on.  On the timing of such an event, it was suggested in the June meeting that the second quarter next year could be a possible time to target. We should discuss this in more detail next meeting.

The Shale seminar program was discussed and Bob Trice is responsible for making the next move and firming up the seminar program.  The most likely time for this seminar would be janurary/february 2003.

7. Schedule next meeting.
Next meeting is scheduled to be September 5’Th  2002, 1300 – 1600 at Phillips Petroleum.
