1.Upcoming workshop on SBED
Title: SBED – Uses & Abuses
Date: We might have to change the date. The FORCE structural group has
reserved the core wieving rooms 3 and 4 October. We are looking into
what their plans are.
Organizing committee: Chris Townsend, Mike
Young (Hydro) and Carsten Elfenbein (Statoil). They will be supported by the
rest of the Reservoir Characterizing Group.
Lectures: Carsten Elfenbein had several
suggestions on lecturers and lectures for the seminar. He will send out his
suggestions to the group.
Further work:
ACTION: We will try to have the workshop program ready within a week from the 23, so that we can put it on the web and send invitation.
The members of the Reservoir Characterization committee are urged to go to their companies and look for persons who can give lectures at the workshop. You are also welcome to come with suggestions on wells and intervals to look at in the core wieving session. PLEASE send Chris or Janka your suggestions on the program.
Hopefully we can have the program ready via discussions on e-mail.
