Can stratigraphic plays change the petroleum exploration outlook of Norway?
On behalf of the FORCE Sedimentary and Stratigraphy network group, we are delighted to announce the call for abstracts for the upcoming workshop addressing the question of "Can stratigraphic plays change the petroleum exploration outlook of Norway?"
The workshop will be held at NPD premises in Stavanger on 12th October 2016.
Our programme will include presentations of case studies on identification of new stratigraphic plays and hydrocarbon potential of stratigraphic traps in various depositional environments from the Norwegian and UK Continental Shelf as well as conceptual studies. It represents an excellent forum for presentation of your work and as organisers we strongly support this opportunity for you to share your knowledge and experience with a wider audience.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee prior to approval, and authors will be notified when their abstract is accepted. In case you’re interested but not able to submit your abstract, please send us the title of your presentation and authors names.
