Predictative models for architecture (and variability) in fluvial sequences, to support analysis and modelling of reservoir communication


Analysis of controlling factors for the development of fluvial sequences, including the effects of climatic fluctuations and variability. 



Sedimentary architectures and grain-size distributions in shore-face deposits, and their role for porosity/permeability preservation in quartz cemented reservoirs. 



Basin scale tectonic influence on development of sedimentary systems and stratigraphy. Emphasis on the effects of variable subsidence at both basin and local scales. 

  

Sedimentary controls on porosity and permeability distributions in carbonates

  

Regional synthesis of the Brent system (has been done several times before, but should be revisited). 

  

Biofacies as indicators of depositional environmental – use dataset from wells with low exploration follow-up potential
