FORCE  (Forum for Reservoir Characterisation, Reservoir Engineering and Exploration Technology Co-operation) invites you to participate in a combined workshop and field trip “Depositional Architecture within the Ainsa Turbidities”on June  10^th - 15^th. 

The FORCE Special Interest Network Group in Sedimentology and Stratigraphy will organise a workshop on this topic at the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate's offices in Stavanger (Prof. Olav Hanssensvei 10, Ullandhaug). The workshop consists of a two-days core workshop on June 10^th - 11^th and a field trip to Ainsa Basin, Northern Spain from June 12^th - 14^th. Departure from Barcelona June 15th. Its possible to only attends the workshop lectures. 

The FORCE program committee for this seminar is Ståle Monstad (DONG), Christian Magnus (NPD), Atle Folkestad (Statoil) and Tore Løseth (Norsk Hydro). 

Price estimate: 
Core workshop will be approx. NOK 2.000 per person. Total cost; the core workshop and field trip approx. NOK 10.000,- per person. Cost covers lectures, flight-tickets, hotels, rental cars and field guiding.

The account for the workshop will be settled after all the expenses for the workshop have been brought to the table, and a final invoice will then be sent from the FORCE Secretariat. 

The deadline for registration is 7th of May 2002. A cancellation fee will aply after the 10th of May.

• From Stavanger June 11^th at 1655 - arriving in Barcelona at 2155.
