Technical Recovery Potential

Objectives

To establish a NCS technical EOR potential for the following water based advanced recovery methods:

  1. Low sal
  2. Polymer
  3. Low sal PASF
  4. In depth zone blocking
  5. 3 & 4 in combination

Scopes

  • FORCE members will provide worldwide aggregated key parameter information regarding field tests/pilots/field implementations.
  • NPD will through selection of representative NCS fields or field segments, estimate the technical EOR potential through simulations (or other evaluation methods),  applying the provided material from members and literature
  • Scaling of technical potential to the remaining other NCS fields will performed.

Plans for 2011

  • Start up meeting in FORCE project group medio January, follow up to be decided.
  • Project plan medio February
  • Input from companies medio March
  • Review of evaluation results by project group end October
  • Scaled NCS results end November
