  • Sharing of best practices, retaining knowledge (plus data sharing – to be addressed by Force Technical Committee)
  • Identify and propose R&D projects leading to field applications
  • Principles for cost efficient and timely data acquisition and reservoir monitoring:
    – Minimum requirements to manage field base production
    – New data required to allow identification of new opportunities
    – Data required to approach technical limits
  • Value of Information methodology and application to data aquisition
  • Reservoir characterisation (reservoir description, rock and fluid properties, water chemistry) - linked to IOR and Exploration networks
  • Integration of unconstrained Technical Recovery Limits into Reservoir Management plan
  • Long term reservoir management planning and strategies; evaluation of long term vs short term high return projects 
  • Completions and Well Interventions (link to data acquisition, smart wells vs cheaper simple wells)
  • Performance Predictions (how to integrate new techniques into Reservoir Management, common pitfalls)
  • Impact on Reservoir Management of subsea vs platform developments (monitoring systems, data acquisition, remedial actions)
